  3. Rule 3 — Spend states its cap firstDefault $5 per experiment; more is a CEO word.
  4. Rule 4 — No mail, no client-facing anythingStructurally — no Lob, Quo, or Resend credentials exist in the Lab.
  5. Rule 5 — Thin recordEvery experiment is a named entry in the notebook — what we tried, what we found, what's next. Three lines is a complete record. Failed experiments are entries, not embarrassments.
  6. Rule 6 — Graduation through the front door onlyA proven finding earns a COO ruling, then a numbered session rebuilds it production-grade. Lab code never copy-pastes into prod.

Right-of-way: threads, batches, and client work always preempt; the Lab runs on surplus.
